Self-Preparation System for Job Searching

DayOne is an innovative platform, yet to launch, designed to support job seekers aged 45+ in refining their personal and professional strengths. The platform guides users on their individual journey to employment, setting milestones and actionable steps to help them better understand and present themselves — whether in their portfolio, résumé, or job interviews. It’s an intelligent system that adapts to the user’s needs, offering a personalized and human-centered experience throughout the process.
Studio Salant ID was actively involved from the early concept stage, through structuring the platform’s information hierarchy, to the UX/UI design of both mobile and desktop interfaces. The process included ongoing collaboration with the client and close coordination with the development team to ensure alignment and clarity.

Dashboard Screens

Home Page

The homepage was designed as a personalized dashboard, bringing together key tools for immediate action: tailored job recommendations, resume improvement tools, and focused tasks. The design emphasizes a clear and accessible user experience, with distinct interactive zones that enable quick navigation, easy reading, and a continuous sense of progress over time.

My Journey Screen

This screen presents the user’s personal roadmap and highlights four key areas of progress: Milestones, Work Tools, Support Tools, and Thinking Tools. The Milestones include practical tasks that can be accessed either from the map or the library, while each category offers tailored tools to support professional, personal, and mental growth. The design focuses on clarity, visual hierarchy, and an intuitive user experience that encourages continuity and engagement.

Resume Version Builder Screen

In this screen, the user creates a personalized version of their resume tailored to a specific job’s requirements. The user experience was designed to enable easy and informed selection of information from an existing professional profile, with a focus on highlighting relevant skills and qualifications. A real-time preview is displayed alongside interactive components that offer guidance, support decision-making, and give users—especially those with less experience—a strong sense of control throughout the process.

Mobile Screens

As part of the design process, we placed strong emphasis on the mobile version, recognizing that most users access the site via mobile devices. The design was thoughtfully adapted to ensure an optimal user experience across all screen sizes.
